The Texas Senate Business and Commerce Committee will be meeting on February 7th at 11 a.m. or upon adj./recess with the purpose to discuss proposed changes to the wholesale electric market design and the impact such changes will have on the reliability of the Texas electric grid. Furthermore, the Committee will discuss electricity outages resulting from recent weather events. The Committee will hear invited testimony only and will meet in the Senate Chamber.
