On January 19th, The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approved financial assistance totaling $8,400,859 for wastewater and flood projects, including
- $4,100,000 to the City of Sugar Land (Fort Bend County) for drainage system improvements
- $4,300,859 to the City of Marble Falls (Burnet County) for wastewater system improvements
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans.
