Governor Greg Abbott has announced that the 89th 2nd Called Special Session will begin Friday, August 15, if quorum is not present in the House at that time. Gov. Abbott noted the 2nd Called Special Session will have the same agenda as the 1st Called Special Session, with potential to add more items.
