The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Austin Water, and Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) are presenting the 22nd Annual CMOM Workshop at the Palmer Events Center in Austin on Aug. 4-5, 2025.

This workshop allows TCEQ and EPA to meet with their municipal permit holders and discuss examples of strong CMOM practices. The CMOM approach outlines an effective system management structure that encourages finding and correcting performance problems in the collection system. Improper maintenance and operation of wastewater collection systems can lead to sanitary sewer overflows. Presentations made at the workshop will be available for all attendees.

Wastewater license holders can earn 13.5 hours of Continuing Education Units through TCEQ. Professional Engineers will receive 15 Professional Development Hours, including an ethics hour.

Registration is available here. More information regarding the workshop can be found here.
