Governor Greg Abbott has named Bech K. Bruun Chairman of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Bruun has served as a board member of the Texas Water Development Board since September 2013. He also serves as the designated TWDB appointee to the Texas Environmental Flows Advisory Group.
Bruun is replacing Carlos Rubinstein who was appointed Chairman in 2013 by former Gov. Rick Perry. Rubinstein recently announced his retirement from the board which will be effective August 31.
