The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has reported that Texas is experiencing the 16th week in a row of weekly improvements in statewide reservoir storage. As of this week, the state’s reservoirs are 83.7% full as compared to February 20 when reservoirs were only 65% full. Only 0.5% of the state is still experiencing moderate to exceptional drought conditions as compared to one year ago when 69% of the state was in a moderate to exceptional drought. A update was also given this week to the TWDB and can be found in the HillCo client hearing report covering the meeting.

There are still 733 public water systems implementing mandatory water use restrictions and 395 systems implementing voluntary water use restrictions.
