State Rep. Dawnna Dukes (D) will resign from her seat (HD 46), according to the Quorum Report (QR). QR reports that due to persistent issues related to a car accident she was in, Dukes will be resigning her seat effective at the start of the legislative session. The resignation will require the Governor to call a special election to fill the seat for the 85th Session which commences on January 10, 2017.
