It has been reported that Gov. Greg Abbott is planning to announce several staff changes later this afternoon as follows:
- Luis Saenz – Chief of Staff
- Matt Hirsch – Deputy Chief of Staff (would also retain current role of Communications Director)
- Reed Clay – Chief Operating Officer
- Tommy Williams – Senior Adviser for Fiscal Affairs
- Sarah Hicks – Budget Director
- John Colyandro – Senior Adviser and Policy Director
- Walter Fisher – Legislative Director
- Peggy Venable – Appointments Director
