Reimbursement Rates
HHSC has proposed to amend 1 TAC §355.8052, concerning Inpatient Hospital Reimbursement, to correct inadvertent errors appearing in the rule. These proposed changes do not alter the methodology used by HHSC to calculate inpatient reimbursement rates. HHSC also proposes revising the methodology used to calculate the inpatient reimbursement rate assigned to new rural hospitals.

Medicaid Managed Care
HHSC has proposed to amend Chapter 353, concerning Medicaid managed care programs and corresponding managed care organization requirements.
A public hearing is scheduled for May 28, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Brown-Heatly Building, Public Hearing Room, located at 4900 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin.
