The DIR Board named Todd Kimbriel as the interim executive director, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Kimbriel, who is also serving as the State of Texas Deputy Chief Information Officer, will succeed Executive Director Karen Robinson, who announced this month she will retire on Dec. 31.
