The Legislative Budget Board (LBB) has posted an issue brief regarding superintendent certification and contract provisions. The brief shows a rise in Texas school district superintendent buyouts. In 2013 there were 10 buyouts, in 2014 there 37 buyouts, and in 2015 there were 55 buyouts.
