Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick has named his appointments to the Joint Oversight Committee on Government Facilities.
Created by Senate Bill 2004, this committee will review deferred maintenance plans and receive implementation updates for governmental buildings and facilities.

“For too long many of our state buildings and facilities have been allowed to deteriorate or fall into a state of disrepair that is simply unacceptable,” said Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.
“I am appointing each one of these hard working Senators to keep a watchful eye on our efforts to reverse this trend and make sure state repairs are on track and within budget.”
