The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) will hold a Board meeting to consider the Region C and Region D Regional Water Plan conflict and to review various TWDB financial policies and procedures. The meeting will include a morning and afternoon session.
The meeting will be held in Austin at the William B. Travis Building, 1701 N. Congress, Room 1-111, on August 7, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
During the morning session, the Board will consider the interregional conflict between the 2011 Region C and Region D Regional Water Plans.
In the afternoon session, the Board will review a Harris County project requesting financial assistance. In addition, the Board will hear an update on the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT) rule development process and reports on financial policies.
