A swearing-in ceremony for eight recently elected or re-elected State Board of Education members will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Sen. Larry Taylor, chair of the Senate Education Committee, will administer the oath of office to the members. New members on the board are Georgina C. Pérez, D-El Paso, and Keven Ellis, R-Lufkin.
