The Senate has adjourned sine die, concluding the 85th Regular Legislative Session.
Before they adjourned, the Senate elected Sen. Robert Nichols (R-Jacksonville) as President Pro-Tempore.
Gov. Greg Abbott has said he will announce later this week on whether he will call a special session.
