As noted in the HillCo Client send out yesterday, a conference committee will work out the differences between the House and Senate versions of the budget bill (HB 1).
Today, the Senate appointed thier conferees:
Sens.: Jane Nelson (R- Flower Mound) chair, Joan Huffman (R-Houston), Lois Kolkhorst (R- Brenham), Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa (D- McAllen), and Charles Schwertner (R- Georgetown)
House conferees:
Reps.: John Otto (R-Dayton) chair, Sylvester Turner (D-Houston), Trent Ashby (R- Lufkin), Larry Gonzales (R- Round Rock), and Sarah Davis (R – West University Place).
