Texas House Speaker Joe Straus has named state Representatives Chris Paddie (R-Marshall), Stan Lambert (R-Abilene), and Alfonso “Poncho” Nevarez (D-Eagle Pass) to the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission. The Sunset Commission examines state agencies on a rotating basis and evaluates the need for, performance of, and potential improvements to the agency under review.
