TCEQ Adopts Rules regarding Interbasin Surface Water Transfers

HB 3233: Interbasin Transfers of Surface Water

HB 3233 modifies the requirements for the permitting process for interbasin transfers of surface water. This rulemaking will amend Chapter 295 and Chapter 297 to incorporate the changes made by the bill to Texas Water Code, Section 11.085.

These rules will go into effect on August 28, 2014.
