The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will hold a stakeholder meeting on September 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will cover rulemaking topics related to the implementation of HB 1648 (designation of water conservation coordinator for water conservation plans), HB 3735 (applications for new or amended water rights), SB 864 (alternatives to state water sources), and SB 1430 (expedited procedures for applicants using desalinated water), all passed during the 85th Regular Session.
