The Texas Task Force on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response has issued its full report and recommendations regarding the state's capabilities to prepare for and respond to infectious diseases, such as the Ebola virus and other emerging pathogens. In the 174-page report, the task force identified 17 overarching issues following the first case of Ebola diagnosed in the United States, which occurred in Dallas in September/October 2014.
