The Texas Water Development Board has published its Water Weekly for the week of March 7. Although drought conditions a year ago were at 43%, today they are 1.1% of the state. TWDB points out that over the past week there was a slight uptick of drought conditions in the Corpus Christi and Lower Rio Grande Valley areas as well as a slight uptick in abnormally dry conditions in the state. Overall, since the first of the year, statewide reservoir storage has been steady with a hint of decline. Typically, we see a gradual increase in reservoir storage through April.
