On February 10, 2010, the Commission will consider the adoption of the Executive Director’s recommended revisions to the Texas State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR) and 30 TAC Chapter 101, Subchapter H, Division 7 (CAIR). The CAIR SIP revision is Project Number 2007-051-SIP-NR and the rule revision is 2007-053-101-EN.
Revisions to the rule will change the deadline to submit a CNA-2 form, Application for CAIR NOx Allowances from the New Unit Set-Aside Trading Budget, from July 1st to May 1st. Therefore, CNA-2 forms requesting 2010 CAIR NOx Allowances will be due by May 1, 2010. The CNA-2 form can be found at http://www.tceq.state.tx.us/implementation/air/banking/air_banking_form.html.
