As expected, Gov. Rick Perry has announced the addition of legislation relating to the operation of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) to the special session call.
This is the second time Perry has expanded the call, the first time was announcing the addition of legislation relating to congressional redistricting to the special session of the Texas Legislature. It is still expected the governor will likely expand the call on certain issues as lawmakers go.
