Senate Finance took up committee substitutes to several state fiscal matters bills and SJR 5 (see below) today. Finance Chairman Steve Ogden said the committee will take votes on several fiscal matters bills, SJR 5 as well as the school finance reform bill, SB 22 (Shapiro), tomorrow.
Senate Finance will be meeting tomorrow at 10am in E1.036 (please confirm all hearings on state site – http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/.)
Discussions on supplemental bill as well as SB 1, the 2012-13 budget bill, will take place on Thursday – it may be voted out the same day.
