Gov. Perry Appointments to State Health Services Council

Gov. Rick Perry Gov. Rick Perry has appointed William “Bill” Lovell of Dallas to the State Health Services Council for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2017. The council makes recommendations regarding the management, operation, policies and rules for public health, mental health and substance abuse. More detail on the council: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/council/default.shtm. Lovell is senior pastor of Christ Church Carrollton, and has been ordained for 22 years. The current council members and their term expiration dates are listed below.
