Last night the House laid out HB 274 for consideration and a point of order was called on it and sustained. The bill went back to committee. Governor Rick Perry has declared HB 274 as an emergency matter. Saturday’s May 7 House Calendar was revised at 12:10 a.m. to include HB 274.
HB 274 by Creighton relates to attorney’s fees, early dismissal, expedited trials, and the reform of certain remedies and procedures in civil actions.
