Dr. Ben Raimer noted he believes there is consensus for the task force to develop strategic planning that focuses on specific issues, to build agreement on those issues, and to assist Office for Elimination of Health Disparities (OEHD). Raimer emphasized the importance of identifying the top 3 health disparities in each state health agency. The task force wants to work with all agencies so that they can eventually propose a request to the legislature with the proper evidence. Due to the lack of current evidence regarding socioeconomic, ethnic, or geographic factors within programs, creating an index of data is crucial.
