Today the following conference committee reports passed out of both the House and Senate:

SB 2 – Appropriating money for the support of state government for the period beginning September 1, 2011 and ending August 31, 2013; and authorizing and prescribing conditions, limitations, rules, and procedures for allocating and expending the appropriated funds; and declaring an emergency.

  • SB 2 conference committee report was adopted as follows:
    • House with 89 ayes and 55 nays
    • Senate with 20 ayes and 10 nays

SB 6 – Relating to the foundation curriculum, the establishment of the instructional materials allotment, and the adoption, review, and purchase of instructional materials and technological equipment for public schools; providing penalties.

  • SB 6  conference committee report was adopted as follows:
    • House 142 ayes and 1 nay
    • Senate 30 ayes and 1 nay

SB 7 – Relating to the administration, quality, and efficiency of health care, health and human services, and health benefits programs in this state.

  • SB 7 conference committee report was adopted as follows:
    • House 96 ayes and 48 nays
    • Senate 22 ayes and 8 nays

SB 8 – Relating to the flexibility of the board of trustees of a school district in the management and operation of public schools in the district.

  • SB 8 conference committee report was adopted as follows:
    • House with 80 ayes and 63 nays
    • Senate with 19 ayes and 11 nays
