In his closing remarks during the meeting of the Senate Finance Committee yesterday, Chairman Steve Ogden announced two new Senate Finance Subcommittees will be appointed on Monday, April 4. The Subcommittees will be dedicated to Transportation/Natural Resources and Higher Education, and represent the third and fourth Senate Finance Subcommittees to be created within the past two weeks. On March 21, Ogden announced the appointment of the Subcommittee on Fiscal Matters and the Subcommittee on Public Safety. Fiscal Matters met for the first time on March 22 and Public Safety met for the first time on March 28.
