Today, the House passed out SB 31, map plan S148, relating to the composition of the districts for the election of members of the Texas Senate without any floor amendments with 96 ayes and 47 nays.
The Senate also took up and passed HB 150, map plan H283, relating to the composition of the districts for the election of members of the Texas House of Representatives. The bill passed the Senate without any floor amendments and with 25 ayes and 6 nays.
