Today the committee substitute to SB 23, by Nelson, relating to efficiencies and cost-savings in the health and human services and other related regulatory agencies, including the state medical assistance and child health plan programs was laid out on the Senate Floor. One floor amendment by Sen. Tommy Williams was adopted which addressed the assisted living licensing exemptions.

CSSB 23, as amended, was passed out of the Senate unanimously.
