HB 600 by Solomons, relating to the composition of the districts for the election of members of the State Board of Education, passed the House as substituted on April 15 with 104 ayes and 34 nays and was referred to the Senate Select Committee on Redistricting. HB 600 was voted favorably as substituted from the Senate Select Committee this week and heard today on the Senate floor. With 28 ayes and 3 nays, HB 600 as substituted passed the Senate and will return to the House for final approval.
