The Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA) has appointed Linda Jones as the director of the Texas State Office of Rural Health.
As director, Ms. Jones will focus on strengthening partnerships with rural health care stakeholders to promote greater access to high quality health care for rural Texans. She will promote rural health needs in policy development; increase the recruitment and retention of health care providers in rural communities; and develop innovative methods to fund rural health programs.
