Revisions to the Statewide Procurement rules have been published in the Texas Administrative Code (§34.TAC.20). Changes have been made to sections 20.160-20.166. The rules were published in June 2020 in the Texas Register and, following a public comment period, were adopted on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020. State agency purchasing staff are encouraged to review the revised rules, which will be incorporated into the next revision of the Texas Procurement and Contract Management Guide. Among the changes are the following:
- 20.160-161 Contract Advisory Team (CAT) definitions and scope
- 20.162-163 CAT solicitation review and expedited review
- 20.164 Enhanced solicitation review
- 20.165 Contract formation and award
- 20.166 Contract management and termination
