Spotlight on Changes in SR 2
- Committee reports for local & general bills will be printed and be made available to the Senate for at least 24 hours before consideration in the full Senate
- Media access rules are altered and a designated press area is established
- Committee modifications made by SR 2:
- Senate Agriculture is rolled into Senate Water, Agriculture, and Rural Affairs, this committee is now 9 members, up from 7 members
- Establishes Senate Jurisprudence with 5 members
- Establishes Senate Local Government with 9 members
- Senate Natural Resources and Economic Development is now 9 members, down from 11 members
- Senate Nominations now 9 members, up from 7 members
- Strikes Senate Property Tax
- Shifts Senate voting threshold from three-fifths (19 out of 31 Senators) to five-ninths (18 out of 31 Senators)
