the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced the implementation of a new process by which the Science Advisory Board (SAB) will assess the science that informs decisions regarding Agency proposed rules. EPA highlights that the new process includes structured peer review of scientific and technical actions, scoping and identifying peer review need, and ensuring peer review is considered and developed early in the rulemaking process.
