Anne Idsal, deputy to Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, was named as the new Region 6 administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency on Monday, December 11. The Dallas-based Region 6 office covers Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Idsal oversees budgets and spending at the Texas General Land Office, which manages 13 million acres of public land and the oil and gas rights underneath.
