The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is accepting public comment on the April 2024 Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) update, which includes two draft addendums for existing Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). The public comment period begins May 10, 2024, and ends June 11, 2024.
Draft addendums to existing TMDL projects are found in the following appendices of the April 2024 WQMP update:
- Appendix IV – Addendum One to One TMDL for Bacteria in Jarbo Bayou for One TMDL for Indicator Bacteria in Jarbo Bayou
- Appendix VII – Addendum Three to Seven TMDLs for Indicator Bacteria in Lake Houston, East Fork San Jacinto River, West Fork San Jacinto River, and Crystal Creek Watersheds for One TMDL for Indicator Bacteria in Winters Bayou
