The TWDB is holding a work session on Nov. 17 to discuss structural and operational aspects of the state’s regional water planning groups. Written comments can also be submited. Nov. 3 is the deadline for written comments. Relevant written comments received by the deadline will be summarized and presented to the TWDB in an aggregated format.
Examples of topics for comment may include:
- Planning group bylaws,
- How planning groups modify their membership and fill vacant voting member positions,
- Representation of interest categories and the total number of voting members on the planning group, or
- The decision-making and meeting frequency of planning groups.
The Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016, in Austin at the Stephen F. Austin Building, 1700 N. Congress Avenue, Room 170, at 1:30 pm.
