February Update on Unified Transportation Program (UTP)

  • $2.1 billion initiative
    • $1.3 billion of the funding to address congestion relief in the areas of Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio
    • Austin receives 158.6 million
    • Dallas receives 364 million
    • Fort Worth receives 163.8 million
    • Houston receives 443.3 million
    • San Antonio receives 170.3 million
    • $400 million of funding for connectivity and safety
    • $60 million for border infrastructure funding
    • $20 million for projects  decided by Port Authority Advisory Committee
  • Deadline for comments will be Feb. 22
  • The Texas Transportation Commission action on UTP updates will be on Feb. 25

 
Public Comment is given to thank the Commission for work on UTP and discussion on UTP is concluded
