On August 11 the House Committee on Transportation will meet to hear invited and public testimony on the following topics: update from the Department of Motor Vehicles on legislation passed in 84th or related issues; utility relocation issues on state right-of-way construction and maintenance projects, update on HB 1 from the 3rd called Special Session of the 83rd Legislative Session; update on any proposed policy changes or revisions to the Unified Transportation Program(UTP); update on toll collection issues, contracts, and third party monitoring; and update on development of the ten year plans for Metropolitan Planning Organizations.
The Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in E2.012. The committee may also address any other topics of interest during the hearing. The hearing will also be broadcast on the internet and can be viewed by visiting the following link: House.
