The Comptroller's Office has announced the Financial Allocation Study for Texas (FAST) ratings for 2014. The 2014 FAST ratings are assigned to 1,140 school districts and charters. The Comptroller’s FAST ratings identified 46 school districts across the state that earned the highest mark of five stars.

FAST looks at academic, financial and demographic data and identifies school districts and campuses that produce high academic achievement while maintaining cost-effective operations.
