Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Leslie Ward of Austin to the Texas Economic Development Corp., and named her chair of the corporation for a term to expire at the pleasure of the governor. The corporation supports programs and activities of the Governor's Division of Economic Development and Tourism, in addition to TexasOne, which markets Texas competitively and dynamically to businesses outside the state's borders.
