At the November 21 Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) meeting, the board was given an update on the HB 4 Stakeholder Committee’s progress for establishing uniform standards for prioritization of regional water plan projects.  The committee has developed uniform standards associated with all five overarching criteria that are required to be considered in HB 4 (83rd Regular) and developed scales and scoring methods for each of the standards. Relative scoring weightings have also been developed. A count of draft items developed by the Stakeholder Committee can be seen by visiting: http://www.twdb.texas.gov/board/2013/11/Board/Brd22.pdf

The committee has largely completed their task, the TWDB board was told, and the full contents of their recommendations will be submitted by December 1, 2013. It is expected the committee's work will be posted at some point on the TWDB website after it has been submitted to the TWDB.
