The Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute (TCCRI) Energy and Environment Task Force met on Thursday, February 11, 2010. The task force will continue the dialogue on state energy and environmental policies that could be impacted by the current federal regulatory landscape.

During the February 11th meeting the task force focused on the positive steps Texas is taking in energy and towards improving the environment. It was also pointed out that since the current administration is having difficulty passing environmental legislation, changes are being implemented in the rules process through agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Industries were encouraged during the meeting to speak out on Texas environmental and energy successes and improvements.
