The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has released communication requesting that before the calendar year (CY) 2025 air emissions inventory (EI) courtesy notifications are sent, to please ensure the EI contact information is correct and up to date. If any information has changed from the previous CY or is incorrect, updates should be emailed to psinvent@tceq.texas.gov by December 12, 2025. No action is required if the EI contact information is correct.
For sites currently on the mailing list, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) will email the courtesy notification letter to the email address on file by December 31, 2025. In addition, for sites subject to the special inventory, a notification letter will be mailed to the mailing address on file.
For sites subject to 30 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §101.10, a completed EI is required to be submitted to TCEQ by March 31, 2026, or as directed by the commission. Emissions inventories must be submitted electronically through the State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS). However, if you determine that your site is not subject to 30 TAC §101.10, a rule inapplicability notification letter may be mailed in lieu of a STEERS submittal.
