A District Court has granted the State of Texas’ request for a temporary restraining order against Johnson & Johnson and Kenvue, finding that there is good cause to believe the companies have not registered as foreign entities as required under Texas’ Business Organizations Code Chapter 9. Attorney General Ken Paxton sued Johnson & Johnson and Kenvue on December 3, 2025, alleging the companies had failed to register despite a large commercial presence in the state. the A full decision by the Court is expected on December 15, 2025.
