2023–24 Texas Academic Performance Reports Release – Inform school systems about the release of the 2023–24 TAPR for school systems and campuses in the Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL) Accountability application, including a TAPR Glossary and TAPR Guidelines. The TAPR has also been publicly released in PDF format on the TAPR webpage. Public reports are available by campus, district, ESC region, and state-wide.
FY24 School Safety Allotment Data Collection – FY24 School Safety Allotment data will be collected by a mandatory survey beginning Monday, January 6, 2025, and concluding Friday, February 28, 2025. When completing the survey, school systems should only account for the funds allotted from the School Safety Allotment. School systems must complete the survey by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025.
SBOE Approved Instructional Materials Entitlements and the new List of Approved Instructional Materials – The first reviews conducted under the process this year evaluated tier-one, full-subject English and Spanish language arts and reading products for grades K–5 (including tier-one, partial-subject phonics products in grades K–3) and tier-one, full-subject mathematics products for grades K–12. The lists of approved and rejected materials, along with associated reports and pre-approval instructional materials access, are available on the SBOE IMRA webpage. Additionally, TEA has launched a new IMRA website to assist school districts in locating and selecting instructional materials.
