The proposed version of the 2026-2027 Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH) has been posted on the Texas Education Agency’s website. The SAAH includes information on FSP eligibility requirements for all students, minimum standards for all attendance accounting systems, documentation requirements for attendance audit purposes, and responsibilities of all district personnel involved in student attendance accounting. The public comment period for the proposed SAAH ends Monday, August 10, 2026. Public comments on the proposed SAAH can be submitted here.
