The comment period for TWDB’s draft of the Nature-Based Solutions for Flood Resilience in Texas Guidance Manual is open until Friday, July 24, 2026. This manual combines guidance and recommendations into a single, statewide resource on the use of Nature-Based Solutions to mitigate flood risk. These solutions use or imitate natural features and/or processes to increase resilience within communities while providing sustainable benefits to people and the environment.
